After-Hours Mixers
Each month, the Chamber hosts and after-hours mixer where members can get to know each other and discuss what’s going on in the community and in their businesses in a more casual atmosphere.
New Member Receptions
These events give new Chamber members the opportunity to meet Chamber staff and Board Members, and each other in a relaxed, mixer setting.
Guest Speaker Luncheons
The Chamber offers guest speaker luncheons with various business topics that will keep our members informed of issues that affect their business.
Envoys
Envoys help Chamber members celebrate ribbon cuttings and ground breakings. They also participate in Operation Thank You—our yearly distribution of Chamber directories. The committee meets for lunch at noon on the first Wednesday of the month.
Chamber Champions
Chamber Champions is a new outreach and retention program where veteran Chamber members (our “Champions”) reach out to our newest members, encouraging them to be active, engaged members. Lawrence Business Expo
This new, improved Chamber event helps members exhibit what they have to offer to Chamber members AND to the Lawrence community. The goal is to help your business connect with other businesses that may become strategic partners.
Taste of Lawrence
This annual fall event honors Douglas County educators from kindergarten through graduate school, bringing teachers and counselors and Chamber members together for an evening of music, food and fun.
