"Taste of Lawrence" Fall Mixer

For more than 30 years, the Taste of Lawrence has been held annually to showcase our community to new educators and celebrate the start of the new school year. Always a great time, the event is aptly named as the wide variety of local food and beverage vendors truly offer those in attendance a ‘taste’ of the Lawrence community.
The Taste of Lawrence is a private event, open only to Lawrence Chamber members and Douglas County educators. The mixer is by far the Chamber’s largest, and one of its most enjoyable, social engagements of the year. Typically an outdoor event, the mixer is held rain or shine with a predetermined, indoor, backup site in the event of rain (click here to read our Severe Weather Policy).
Tickets for the evening are just $25 for Chamber members and $12.50 for all Douglas County educators. To purchase your Taste of Lawrence tickets, simply contact the Chamber office at 785.865.4411. Tickets are on sale now and available for pickup at the Chamber office, 646 Vermont Street, Ste. 200, beginning Aug. 29. Tickets not picked up prior to the event will be available for pickup at the Chamber’s “Will Call” tent the day of the event.
Please note, tickets to this year’s mixer will not be mailed. We STRONGLY encourage tickets be picked up in advance to avoid long lines the day of the event.
