Advisory Board of Directors

Committees

Development Committee

Shall consist of the Development Chair, at least three members of the Advisory Board and additional appointed alumni appointed by the Development Chair. Duties shall be to secure sponsors for the program and raise additional funds to support the program.

Recruitment/Selection Committee

To be appointed by the Executive Committee, shall consist of no fewer than fifteen (15) and not more than twenty (20) members who, with the exception of the Chair, shall remain anonymous. Members shall serve a three year term with approximately one third of the membership replaced each year. The Recruitment/Selection Committee Chair shall be a voting member of the committee. The Recruitment/Slelction Committee shall be responsible for recruiting and selecting a diverse group of potential leaders for the Leadership Lawrence Class.

Events/Alumni Committee

Shall consist of the Alumni/Events Chair, at least three members of the Advisory Board and additional alumni appointed by the Event/Alumni Chair. The committee shall be responsible for planning the Announcement Reception, Alumni Luncheon, Graduation Program, and a variety of activities for the alumni of Leadership Lawrence.

Curriculum Committee

Shall consist of the Chair-Elect/Curriculum Chair, at least three members of the Advisory Board, and additional alumni appointed by the Chair-Elect/Curriculum Chiar. The committee shall be responsible for planning and conducting the sessions of the current class, which shall be a broad and continuting interest to the community incorporating leadership training principles.
