Lawrence Chamber of Commerce to Host Capitol Connections Forum

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce will host the final of three Capitol Connections forums on Saturday, April 1, 2006, from 8 – 9 a.m. at the Hereford House restaurant. All media outlets are encouraged to attend and cover the event.
The forums, which are sponsored by Aquila, Lawrence Journal-World, AT&T and the Chamber’s Government Affairs committee, give local citizens an opportunity to interact with state legislators, as the Douglas County delegation speaks to attendees about timely Legislative issues and answers questions of community interest.
The event is open to the public and the fee for the program is $13.00 in advance and $15.00 at the door. Breakfast is included with the program fee.
