Lawrence, Kan. – Kinedyne was presented with a Foundation Award during the January 23 Lawrence City Commission meeting. The Foundation Awards Program recognizes local companies that have achieved substantial job growth. During the one-year qualifying period, Kinedyne added 52 employees which represents a 40% increase in jobs. That growth continues as Kinedyne adds a second shift which will bring an additional 30 employees.
“We are quite proud of not only what Kinedyne offers Lawrence and the surrounding communities, but also what the communities are able to offer Kinedyne, said Amy Bellerive, Human Resource Manager. “We have been fortunate to find quality employees with very diverse backgrounds. 2007 is shaping up to be a busy year and with that comes the need for additional employees. We are confident that with the assistance of our staffing partners, we will be able to find the right employees to continue that trend”
“Kinedyne’s success exemplifies the value of our business retention efforts,” said Jamie Blaylock, Lawrence Chamber of Comemrce Director of Business Retention and Attraction Programs.
